Every rental includes free basic medical coverage for riders and passengers, giving you added peace of mind while exploring Thailand. For those who would like additional protection, optional damage and theft coverage is also available to help reduce your financial responsibility in the event of an accident, damage, or vehicle theft during your rental period.

Compulsary Medical & Injury Insurance

Por Ror Bor is medical and injury insurance which is included with every bike rental for free. It is designed to provide immediate financial assistance to people injured in road accidents within Thailand.

Who does it cover?

  • Drivers

  • Passengers

  • Pedestrians

  • Other parties involved in the accident

What amounts does it cover?

  • Medical Expenses 30,000฿ - 80,000฿

  • Death 35,000฿ - 500,000฿

  • Disability 35,000฿ - 500,000฿

  • Loss of organ 35,000฿ - 250,ooo฿

  • Combined Maximum 65,000฿ - 500,000฿

Coverage amounts are determined on a situational basis. If a claim is to be made the hospital staff will inform you the procedure in accordance with their policies. Either the insurance will either pay directly to the hospital at the time of the visit, or require payment to the hosptial to be made first and the reimburse you directly.

Damage/theft coverage

Damage and theft certainly is not common, however for those who would like the peace of mind, we do we do offer optional coverage to protect against the possibility of any damage or theft related costs.

Please note, the damage/theft coverage does not cover 3rd party vehicles or property, and a 10,000 baht deductible will apply in the unlikely event of an incident.
