General Requirements

renter requirements

• A valid passport is required to be shown at the time of rental. We DO NOT hold your passport, we simply take a copy.

• Riding experience is mandatory for all touring bike rentals.

• Minimum age: 21 years. (Exceptions may be made if properly experienced with a valid motorbike license)

drivers license requirements

• A valid driving license is legally required in Thailand

• ASEAN Licenses are legal in Thailand

• International Drivers Permits are legal in Thailand

• License from other countries are commonly used and commonly allowed but ultimately up the the discretion of the police officers.

• Improper licensing may lead to a fine if checked by police

• Proper licensing is strongly recommended for insurance validity.

 Payments, Extensions & Reservations

Payments

• Payments are due in full on the first day of rental.

Deposits

• 2,000 THB

Payment Methods

• Cash (THB; ATMs and currency exchanges widely available)

• Bank Transfer

  • Local Bank Transfer (Siam Commercial Bank Account: 204-208421-6)

  • International transfers via Wise

• Credit Cards (Visa & Mastercard)

  • +2% processing fee

Rentals Extensions

• All customers on open ended rentals are allowed to extend their rentals as long as they would like, or return as needed. (Within working hours) Simply contact us to make a payment via your preferred method and we will update your rental to the new dates.

Reservations (Fixed Pickup and Return Times)

• All reservations have fixed pickup and return times. If you would like to extend please contact us prior to confirm availability to ensure their is not a scheduling conflict with another incoming customer.

• Advance reservations accepted for rentals 2 days or longer.

• Booking deposit: 2,000 THB (cash, transfer, or credit card).

• Deposit returned at end of rental.

Cancellations

• More than 7 days prior: 100% refund of booking deposit.

• Less than 7 days prior: Deposit held for up to 1 year as credit.

• Within 24 hours: Deposit is forfeit up to, but not over the cost of the scheduled rental. Any remaining deposit will be refunded.

Insurance & Liability

medical coverage (Inclusive):

• Standard medical coverage for all parties involved in an accident. (The amount of coverage is determined on a per basis criteria based on the specific injuries obtained)

• Coverage applies within Thailand only.

Damage/theft coverage (Optional):

• Damage/Theft coverage is available for the rental bike itself. (does not cover third-party vehicles or property).

• A deductible applies in the event of an incident.

 Bike Conditions

INcluded with every bike (free of charge)

• Two helmets (Rental helmets are used for a maximum of one year before being replaced)

• Phone Mount (Provided for conveninece, however to be used at customers discretion. BSR can not guarantee against any damages in the unlikely event that damages are incurred)

• Luggage storage during your rental period

Usage limitations

• All city bikes come with unlimited km usage, but are for local Bangkok use only. For usage outside of Bangkok, please see our Touring Bikes.

• Theft in Thailand is very rare, but when it does happen the bikes are generally sent to a bordering country. For this reason any city bikes being used outside of Bangkok will be presumed stolen and treated as such.

Delivery/Pickup

• Delivery is available pending location and our schedule at that time for rentals of one week or longer.  Although we do not schedule or guarantee deliveries in advance, we do provide it when possible to accommodate customers needs. 200 baht pending location and distance.
