FUEL STABILIZER

For bikes stored over 6 months, fuel stabilizer is recommended as fuel degrades after extended periods.

• Fuel stabilizer cost: 30 baht per liter

RECOMMENDED

Fill the fuel tank with ethanal free fuel (Benzine) prior to storage

• A full tank limits air space preventing internal corrosion and rust

• Benzine degrades at a slower rate than Gasohol

• Benzine is ethanol free and does not abosrb water creating phase separation (water) within your fuel tank

General Information

• Access times - Access is available during standard working hours. We do not offer 24/7 service.

• Limited spots - Spots are limited, so it is recommended to contact us in advance to confirm availability

• Keys - Customers may keep the keys in their possession as bikes are not used or ridden by staff unless specifically requested for pickups and/or returns or required for battery access

• Insurance - Customers are responsible for their own insurance coverage if they would like the added security. We do not provide insurance for bikes when in storage.

• Dust Covers - All bikes are covered with a breathable dust cover to protect the bike’s exterior while also preventing trapped moisture causing rust and/or corrosion from heavy waterproof covers.

• Gasohol vs Benzine - When storing a bike for extended periods, Benzine is highly recommended. Gasohol includes ethanol which is hygroscopic and absorbs water. Over time it leads to corrosion and rust, deteriorates certain types of fuel lines and o-rings, and degrades at a much faster rate than pure petrol creating a sticky gel like consistency that clogs carbuerators, fuel injectors and fuel lines.

• Alternative storage options -Our service is designed for people who prefer convenience and security, but there are other options too.

  • Self storage - Self storage can be very safe and secure, but pricing can be drastically different between locations, and not all will accept vehicles, so it is best to contact individually to see if what they offer suits your needs.

  • Parking lots - The most affordable options would be a parking lot, They sometimes can offer covered parking, though is still typically more exposed to weather and/or the possibility of flooding. PP Carpark is an example in Phra Khanong near Sukhumvit with prices from 600 baht for non covered motorbike parking.
